UCSF School of Dentistry Tissue and Cell Biology Laboratory Renovation (HSW 6)*

This the lab renovation on the 6th floor of the Health Sciences West tower was the first in the country to earn LEED for Commercial Interiors (LEED-CI) Certification in 2005. In 2006, the project was selected as Best Overall Sustainable Design by UCOP/CSU and received Honorable Mention for Excellence in Sustainable Design by ED+C Magazine. Hands-on attention during construction allowed the architect to keep a watchful eye on the project and advocate for integrated energy-saving design features.
