Noll & Tam has always been proud to be a women-owned company, with three female principals and two female associate principals. Too often in the architecture/engineering/construction industry women are not represented in senior management positions. When Chris Noll and Janet Tam began their partnership in 1992, they realized that forming a women-owned firm was an important part of moving our industry forward. We were delighted to have Janet, along with two other female architects, profiled in Architect Magazine to discuss the challenges that women face in architecture, and offer advice on how to forge ahead.
