Noll & Tam recently completed the construction of the new $25M Half Moon Bay Library. The community’s response to the opening of this library was incredible! Within an hour of the grand opening, people began to use the space as a library, sitting and reading or working, despite the surrounding festivities. Designing this library to have a minimal impact on the surrounding residential neighborhood while preserving the coastal community’s character and meeting stringent environmental standards was a challenge and an amazing learning experience.
