Noll & Tam collaborated with stakeholders such as Scout representatives, the Benicia Senior Citizens Board of Directors, and interested neighbors to refine a design and program for this renovation. Major design components include a new entry foyer and main offices, conversion of existing rooms into City offices, and renovation of classrooms to serve as multipurpose spaces. One entire wing houses the local Boy and Girl Scout chapters. The new community center is an asset for the City, a place for residents to gather and enjoy yoga classes, Spanish lessons, computer classes, or cooking demonstrations.
