This new academic building, completed in a design-build partnership with Overaa Construction, ushers in a new era as the first new building on the College of Alameda campus in more than 20 years. A flagship anchor on the street-facing side of the campus with a strong presence on Webster Street, the three-story building provides a new permanent home for the Art and Apparel Design and Merchandising (ADAM) Program, as well as offices for faculty. The transparency of the design provides natural daylight for a healthy learning environment and increases visibility of campus programs to the surrounding community.
