Our team explored several options for redesign, including a phased implementation of layout changes and new interior finishes. The design includes seismic retrofit and building system upgrades, and upgrades based on Library program needs, such as the creation of group study rooms, and the expansion of the “Library Express” program, which allows student access to reserve collections and computers with minimal staff support during hours when the library itself is closed.
