Kaiser O’Farrell Street Relocation
As our first projects under Kaiser Permanente’s Preferred Provider Program, Noll & Tam worked on decanting Kaiser clinics and staff from 2200 O’Farrell Street in San Francisco, which was scheduled for demolition. Through interviews with the stakeholder groups, Noll & Tam gathered the requests and requirements of each department and subsequently presented a variety of options for consideration. Each option included an adherence to Kaiser design standards and design templates. The final program included redesign of space in three nearby buildings to accommodate executive offices for The Permanente Medical Group, office space for Outpatient Medical Records administrative department, a pediatric clinic with a variety of exam and treatment rooms and offices, a cardiology clinic, and renovations to lobbies, corridors and other support spaces.
