“INTEGRATING AND DESIGNING TO ALL THE RESTRAINTS AND POSSIBILITIES OF A PROJECT IS THRILLING. AND KNOWING WHEN TO STOP IS ESSENTIAL!”
A self-professed “bookie,” public libraries have always been close to Elaine’s heart, especially those located near her Massachusetts roots. It’s always been easy for her to get lost in the comfort of libraries, often spending hours there with her friends, navigating the aisles with an ice cream in hand.
With her background in environmental studies and public park projects she pivoted to Architecture and is refreshed by community workshops, making models, drawing, and rendering. She feels right in her element collaborating with our staff, consultants, clients, and contributing to public projects.
Outside of work, she dedicates time to teaching undergraduates at UC Berkeley, and her passion for food and cooking connects her to the people in her life. Starting her mornings off by watering her plants, sipping a cup of coffee, and spending time with her cats balances work and life.
